Professional Affiliations - B. Scott Cook

B. Scott Cook, owner and principal designer, has been a professional member of the American Institute of Building Design since 2007. In 2023, he earned his certification, achieving the designation of Certified Professional Building Designer (CPBD). He currently serves on the AIBD Board of Directors and holds the position of Chairman of the Chapters Committee. 

As a lifelong resident of Walterboro, Scott is committed to preserving the city’s architectural heritage. As a member of the Historic Preservation Commission, he works to protect and promote the historical integrity of the community he proudly calls home. 

 Scott serves on the Colleton County Planning Commission, supporting responsible growth and development countywide. 

Scott is a member of Main Street Walterboro, a community-driven initiative focused on the revitalization and preservation of Downtown Walterboro.
